President's Volunteerism and Philanthropy Awards: Non-profits will get own category of recognition
Non-profit organisations will get their own category of recognition next year in the President's Volunteerism and Philanthropy Awards. Culture, Community and Youth Minister Edwin Tong announced this as 13 individuals and organisations received awards. He said the awardees show that everyone can give back in a diversity of ways. This year's awards saw 294 nominations - higher compared to the past two years.
